The non woven disc is a safe alternative to metal wire brushes, it offers a greater surface and it leaves a finer finishing that could delete other finising steps.

The Scotch Brite clean&strip disc uses extra coarse silicon carbide abrasive mineral.

Silicon carbide is a very sharp synthetic mineral , usually used for lower pressure applications as paint prep.

Even if it breaksdown faster than the aluminium oxide, the silicon carbide creates a finer finishing.

The Scotch Brite products with incorporated abrasive in nylon or non woven sintetic fibers are one of a kind: the combination betwenn the abrasive and the fibers creates an abrasive system that offers consistent results for the all lasting of the product.

This open wire material is load resistant and it preserves cut performances of the abrasive minerals minimizing the fiber clogging.
